JéGO will be responsible for protecting every bit of data you share with us while using this platform because it will be used to improve our services, protect the privacy of your personal information, and provide you with better services. We value and respect your decision, but with such a great choice comes a greater obligation as to how the data you provide to us is safeguarded and used to serve you better.   • Details you willingly give to JéGO, when you register for an account on the JéGO website or mobile application such as;
    1. Account Details;
      1. Customer Details: First Name, Last Name, date of birth, Email Address, Phone Number, Personal Address, Valid ID;
      2. Business Details: Business Address, CAC Certificate, and relevant documents. Company Director ID and details, business logo;
      3. Vendor Details: First Name, Last Name, Business Email Address, Business Phone Number, Business Name, Business Address, Account Details;
    2. Vehicle Identification Number (VIN);
    3. Vehicle repair & maintenance history - collected from invoices;
    4. Vehicle Registration Details;
    5. Bank Verification Numbers (BVN);
    6. NIN and a valid ID;
    7. Tax Identification Number.
  • Information obtained from your use of our services, including your phone number, home address, email address, Bank account details, debit card details, means of Identification, taxpayer identification number, etc.
  • Additional sources of information include partners of JéGO and third parties who use systems connected to JéGO. All of that information will help us stay in compliance with all applicable laws, especially those that deal with anti-money laundering and stopping the funding of crime in each jurisdiction where we do business. Additionally, it will help us keep the cost of your use of our goods or services to a minimum.

This may include:
  • User profile: When you create or update your JéGO account, we ask you for information. Your name, email address, phone number, login details, residential address, (together with any pertinent payment verification data), official documents of legally valid government-issued identification, birth date, photo, and signature may all be included in the information. This includes any preferences and selections you have made for your JéGO account.
  • Background Check Information: If you sign up to use JéGO services, we might gather background check data about you. This may include details about your transaction history, whether you are a high-risk person, your credit status, how much you are allowed to hold on all available assets, depending on your line of work and earnings using a bank account.

Additionally, we use the information we collect:

- For customer support.
- For research and development.
- To enable communications to or between users.

JéGO does not sell or otherwise transfer your personal data to outside parties for their direct marketing campaigns. B. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Privacy Rights and Disclosures
California residents have the Right to Know rights under the CCPA to request to disclose what personal information that we collect, use, disclose and sell, in the preceding 12 months.

In your request, please specify the type of request you are making, and provide your name and email. After notifying you and getting your consent, JéGO uses the information we collect from you when you use our customer support services to assist you to: -

16. INFORMATION RETENTION AND DELETION
JéGO requires information about its users in order to provide its services, and it retains this information for as long as your JéGO account remains active, with adequate notice if it ever becomes inactive.
Users are always free to request the deletion of their accounts. In response to a request of this nature, JéGO deletes any data it is not required to keep and restricts access to or use of any data it determines to be necessary to keep. If, for instance, there is a pending transaction on your account or an unresolved claim or dispute, JéGO may not be able to delete your accounts. After the issue preventing deletion is resolved, JéGO will delete your account as previously said. Through the Privacy Settings in the JéGO application or on this website, you can ask to have your account deleted at any time.
JéGO may also keep particular information ifit's necessary for its legitimate business goals, such as fraud prevention and enhancing user security. For example, if JéGO shuts auser's account as a result of dangerous behavior or security incidents, JéGO may preserve specific information about that user'saccount in order to prevent that user from opening a new JéGO account in the future.
We will retain your personal information for as long as you maintain an account or have a contractual relationship with us, or for as long as necessary to provide the products, future product offerings, or services, or for such longer period as may be required or permitted by applicable law. 18. DEVICE PERMISSION
On the majority of smartphone platforms (including iOS, Android, and other devices), apps cannot access any kind of device data without your permission. When the JéGO app initially requests access to a specific type of data, the iOS platform will notify you and give you the option to accept or reject.
